Understanding 369
The mathematics behind Tesla's obsession with 3, 6, and 9.
1. The Doubling Sequence
Digital roots cycle: 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5...
Start with 1. Double it: 2. Double again: 4. Then 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512... When you reduce each number to its digital root (sum the digits until you get a single digit), you get an endlessly repeating pattern: 1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5.
Notice what's missing: 3, 6, and 9 never appear. No matter how far you extend the sequence, these three numbers exist outside the doubling pattern entirely. They operate on a different plane.

Now try doubling 3: you get 6. Double 6: you get 12, whose digital root is 3. Double 12: 24 (digital root 6). This creates a perfect oscillation -- 3 and 6 endlessly dance between each other, like magnetic poles.
3 represents the positive pole. 6 represents the negative pole. Together they create the oscillation that drives all energy. They are the yin and yang of the number system, existing in perfect balance outside the material sequence.

9 doubled always returns to 9.
9 is even more remarkable. When you double 9, you get 18. 1 + 8 = 9. Double 18 to get 36. 3 + 6 = 9. No matter how many times you double 9, the digital root is always 9.
Furthermore, add 9 to any number: the digital root doesn't change. 4 + 9 = 13, and 1 + 3 = 4. The number 9 is the axis -- it interacts with everything but changes nothing. It is the point around which all other numbers revolve.
While 3 and 6 oscillate, 9 remains perfectly still. It is the singularity, the black hole at the center of the number system.

Carbon-Based Life
Carbon has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons. All known life is carbon-based. The building block of existence is a 6-6-6 structure.
Water Hexagons
Water molecules form hexagonal (6-sided) structures when they crystallize. Snowflakes always have 6 arms. The molecule that sustains life follows the 6 pattern.
DNA Helix
The DNA double helix has a pitch of 34 angstroms (3.4 nm) per turn. Digital root of 34: 7. But DNA has 10 base pairs per turn, and 3 hydrogen bonds in each G-C pair.
Time & Geometry
A circle has 360 degrees (digital root 9). A day has 86,400 seconds (digital root 9). 60 minutes, 60 seconds (digital root 6).

Marco Rodin discovered that when you arrange the numbers 1-9 around a circle and draw the doubling connections, a specific pattern emerges -- the Rodin Coil. This toroidal shape represents the flow of energy itself.
The doubling sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 7, 5) traces a figure-eight path on this circle. But 3, 6, and 9 form a stable triangle at the center, controlling the pattern without participating in it. They are the governing numbers of the vortex.
The Rodin Coil, based on this vortex mathematics, creates a toroidal field that some researchers believe is the shape of the universe itself -- energy flowing in through one vortex point, out through the other, in an endless cycle governed by 3, 6, and 9.
